Contract processing

Goonvean Fibres has a range of modern processing equipment to reduce the size of numerous types of materials, including fibres, films and papers. This service is offered on a contract basis.

Our equipment ranges from sample machines capable of a few kilograms per hour, to a large purpose-designed plant that is able to handle several tonnes per day.

Whatever your requirements, talk to us. We specialise in milling and grinding a range of materials, including fibres and films, and can reduce products to sizes ranging between 6000-250 microns.

We are also skilled in precision cutting natural and synthetic fibres (in continuous filament form). Typical cut fibre lengths are between 0.5-20mm, but larger lengths are possible depending on what you, the customer, demand. We process most synthetic and natural fibres including speciality and high cost derivatives for example PEEK fibres and carbonised nylon. Our in-house designed cutting equipment can give very accurate cut lengths to a tolerance of 0.05mm if required . All orders for standard cut lengths are processed without capital investment costs.
