FiltrationGoonvean Fibres manufactures a range of precision or short cut fibres and milled flocks for use in filtratiion systems. Flocks can be used as pre-coats in wet filtration systems, where they mask and bridge the open mesh in metal screens and loosely woven filter cloths. Precision cut fibres also reinforce non-woven mats and papers used in oil, air and specialist filters such as dust masks and aircraft filters.

Goonvean Fibres can offer precision cut fibres (in continuous filament form) using rotary and guillotine cutters. Capable of cutting from 0.25mm up to 50mm. For further information please contact enquiry@goonveanfibres.co.uk

Viscose rayon is most commonly used in the production of paper and packaging but has also found applications in filtration, hygiene and oil well drilling. The fibre has an exceptional dye affinity making it invaluable for use in speciality papers such as bank notes. As the material is 100% biodegradable it is globally accepted for use in applications which demand environmental control.
